Patient Sitter

Duties and Responsibilities: •Familiarity with medical terminology •Ability to work well in teams •Maintaining constant, direct supervision of the patient to ensure they do not harm themselves, fall, or remove medical equipment. •Notifying nursing staff immediately if a patient attempts to get out of bed, becomes combative, or exhibits changes in condition. •Providing comfort to patients, reducing emotional stress, and supporting families. •Assisting with non-medical tasks such as feeding, hydration, and rearranging pillows. •Recording patient behavior and activity periodically throughout the shift. Qualifications: •At least 1 year experience in related field •Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields •Ability to build rapport with patients •Compassionate and caring demeanor •Familiarity with medical terminology •Ability to work well in teams
